PURPOSE: To provide a bead core for tire which makes a tire possible to obtain pressureproof strength which is equal to that obtained by a conventional tire which uses steel wire bead and achieve reduction of the weight fully by newly devising the composition of Aramid fiber cord and the bead core which uses the Aramid fiber cords.

CONSTITUTION: This is a bead core for automobile tire which is made by winding one Aramid cord covered with rubber around a core metal several turns while shifting it in the cross direction of core metal to form a first layer after covering aramide fiber cord whose strand coefficient is in the range of 0 to 500 without fixing them by matrix resin, and then winding it around on the first layer several turns by reversing the direction of shift to form a second layer, and also winding it around sequentially by reversing the direction of shift alternately in the same way as the above to overlap several layers.
