Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tank in which reinforcement of a tank body the inside of which a hollow storage part capable of storing fluid is formed is easily realized by junction of a plurality of tank formation members, and a method for reinforcing the same.SOLUTION: A fuel tank 11 which is a kind of tanks comprises: a tank body 15 the inside of which a hollow storage part 18 capable of storing fluid such as fuel oil is formed by junction of a plurality of tank formation members consisting of a cylindrical body 16 and a plate body 17; and a coating part 20 which coats at least a joint part 19 between the cylindrical body 16 and the plate body 17 of an outer surface of the tank body 15, in which the coating part 20 is constituted by containing polyurea resin.
