PURPOSE: To provide a bead core for tire which makes a tire possible to obtain pressureproof strength which is equal to that obtained by a conventional tire which uses steel wire bead and achieve reduction of tire weight fully by newly devising composition of Aramide fiber cords and the bead core which uses the Aramid fiber cords.

CONSTITUTION: This is a bead core of a pneumatic tire which is made by putting several aramide fiber cords in parallel after impregnating with initial polymer of thermosetting resin the Aramide fiber cord whose strand coefficient is in the range of 0 to 500 to form a continuous belt body whose cross section is rectangular, cutting the belt body in the predetermined length to form bands 1 whose cut faces on the right and left tilt at an angle of 45° or more for the direction of thickness respectively, winding the band 1 around a core metal several turns to form a ring-like lamination 4, and curing the initial polymer of thermosetting resin.
