Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beam branching device that can suppress increase in costs and the like even if there are many branches of an incidence beam, and can improve coupling efficiency even if rotation accuracy of a rotary type motor does not enhance much, and can deal with even a high-speed switch of optical paths.SOLUTION: A beam branching device 1 is configured to: rotate a rotary shaft of a rotary type motor 2 to rotate a rotor 4 together with a plurality of reflection mirrors 5; cause a reflection mirror surface part 20 of one reflection mirror 5 of the plurality of reflection mirrors 5 to reflect an incidence beam 7; branch the incidence beam 7 into a plurality of incidence beams; and switch an optical path of a reflection beam 9. A center shaft 6 of the rotor 4 is at a twist position relative to a center line 8 of the incidence beam 7, and the plurality of reflection mirrors 5 is arranged to face each other on both sides in a shaft direction of the rotor 4 across a position on the rotor 4 and nearest to the incidence beam 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
