Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease assembling works of scaffolds at an elevated level and perform safely and effectively the beam member connecting operations at altitudes.
SOLUTION: A scaffold body 32 fitted with scaffold plates is assembled on the ground and set in place as striding a large beam 18, which is then lifted to the position where connection with a fixing beam part 52 is to be generated. The scaffold body 32 is moved to the working position along the first guide rail, the auxiliary rail 56, and the second guide rail 54, and joint plates 60, 62, 64, 66 are attached to the butt part of the large beam 18 with fixing beam part 52 so that the connection of the two is established.
