To provide a bearing device for a swash plate type compressor easily worked in desired accuracy.

This device is put between a swash plate 20 provided on an axis of a drive shaft 11 of a swash plate compressor in such a manner that the same can rotate as one unit, and a piston drive plate 30 reciprocating pistons 13 by being oscillated in the axial direction, accompanying rotary action of the swash plate 20. The device includes a thrust roller bearing 50 assembled between one side surface of the swash plate 20 and the piston drive plate 30, and a radial roller bearing 40 assembled on an outer circumference surface of a cylinder part 22 projecting to an axial direction from the one side surface of the swash plate 20 and including a center hole in which the drive shaft 11 is fitted. One of raceway rings 30 of the thrust roller bearing 50 is formed out of an annular flat plate of prescribed thickness. One of the raceway rings 30 is loosely fitted on an outer circumference surface of an outer ring 42 of the radial roller bearing 40.
