Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel which can prevent the generation of hoop stress without using a jig.SOLUTION: A bearing device 1 for a wheel is composed of: an outer ring 2 being an outer member in which an inner-side outside rolling face 2c and an outer-side outside rolling face 2d being double-row outside rolling faces are integrally formed at an internal periphery; a hub ring 3; and at least one inner ring 4 arranged at the hub ring 3. The bearing device also comprises: the hub ring 3 being an inner member in which double-row inner inside rolling faces 3g, 4a opposing the inner-side outside rolling face 2c and the outer-side outside rolling face 2d are formed at an external periphery; the inner ring 4; and an inner-side ball row 5a and an outer-side ball row 5b being double-row rolling bodies which are rollingly accommodated between the rolling faces of the inner member and the outer member. A hub-ring side screw 3b is formed at a small-diameter step part 3a of the hub ring 3, an inner-ring side screw 4b is formed at an internal periphery of the inner ring 4, and the hub ring 3 and the inner ring 4 are screw-fastened to each other by the screw-in of the hub-ring side screw 3b into the inner-ring side screw 4b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
