Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing fixing structure capable of reducing an increase in hoop stress generated in a bearing inner ring by suppressing the occurrence of force in a direction to increase the diameter of the bearing inner ring when a caulking ring is caulked to fix a bearing to a shaft.SOLUTION: A bearing fixing structure is to fix a bearing by caulking a cylindrical caulking ring into an annular groove formed on a shaft. An end face on one end side of the caulking ring which is opposed to an inner ring end face of the bearing is in contact with the inner ring end face on the side closer to the outer diameter than an inner end of the inner ring end surface.
