To provide a bearing holding a foamed solid lubricant sealed therein which is excellent in lubricant retentivity, has a long life, can be operated even at a high speed rotation, can be made by relatively simple processes, and thus can respond to the demand of cost reduction.

This bearing holding a foamed solid lubricant sealed therein in which a foamed solid lubricant 37 is sealed in a bearing 31 is characterized in that the foamed solid lubricant 37 is produced by foaming and curing a mixture comprising a lubricating component, a urethane prepolymer having isocyanate groups in the molecule, a curing agent, and a foaming agent; the lubricating component is at least one of hydrocarbon-based lubricants and hydrocarbon-based greases; the urethane prepolymer has an isocyanate group content of 2 wt.% to 6 wt%; the foaming agent is water; the lubricating component is contained in an amount of 30 to 70 wt.% based on the total amount of the mixture; and an open-cell rate is 50%, after foamed.
