To provide a foamed solid lubricant-sealed universal joint which has a long life, can be made at a low cost, is excellent in productivity, and can simultaneously achieve the reduction in loads on environments.

This universal joint is characterized in that the foamed solid lubricant 10 is sealed on the periphery of a torque transmission member (ball) 6; the foamed solid lubricant 10 is produced by foaming and curing a mixture of a lubricating component, a resin component, a curing agent, and a foaming agent; the lubricating component is at least one lubricating component selected from lubricants and/or greases; the resin component is a urethane prepolymer having an isocyanate group content of 2 wt.% to 6 wt%; the foaming agent is water; the mixture contains the lubricating component in an amount of 30 to 70 wt.% based on the total amount of the mixture; and an open-cell rate is 50%, after foamed.
