Abstract:
To reduce engine noise by suppressing deformation of a bearing housing.SOLUTION: A bearing structure includes a first bearing (23) fitted to a crank shaft (2), a second bearing (31) fitted to a balancer shaft (30) canceling rotational vibration of the crank shaft, and an aluminum alloy crank case (10) formed by casting a bearing housing (5) made of cast iron and covering outer peripheries of the first bearing and the second bearing. The bearing housing is formed in a manner of being kept into contact with an outer peripheral surface of the first bearing, and formed at an interval with respect to an outer peripheral surface of the second bearing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
