To provide a bed device improved in strength without enlarging a side frame constituting a bed body.
A bed device includes: a bed body formed in a rectangular frame shape by a pair of side frames 2 separately oppositely arranged in parallel, a head board connected to one ends in a longitudinal direction of the side frames, and a foot board 4 connected to the other ends thereof; a leg member 19 supporting the bed body at a prescribed height; a pair of receiving members 6 each having a belt-like vertical part 7 mounted on an inner surface of the side frame, and a belt-like horizontal part 8 formed in a lower end of the belt-like vertical part so as to be bent at a right angle, formed at almost the same length as that of the side frame, and integrally provided with connection plates 9 in which the inner surfaces of the head board and the foot board are fixedly connected to both ends in the longitudinal direction thereof, respectively; and a floor board supported so that both ends in the width direction thereof are engaged with a top surface of the belt-like horizontal part of the receiving member, for placing a mattress on the top face thereof.
