Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed device such that a bed frame can be driven to move up and down and incline by use of one drive means.
SOLUTION: This bed device includes: a bed frame 65 freely rotationally connected to one end of each of a first arm 16 and a second arm 18 which are freely rotationally connected at the other ends to a base frame 1; a locking mechanism 35 which non-slidably holds a first interlocking rod 25 connected to the first arm 16 and a second interlocking rod 26 connected to the second arm 18; a release mechanism 51 which releases the other ends of the first and second interlocking rods from the state of being held by the locking mechanism; and a vertical drive means 61 which is actuated to raise the bed frame approximately horizontally while the first and second interlocking rods are non-slidably held by the locking mechanism, and which is actuated to incline the bed frame while the first and second interlocking rods are released from the state of being held by the locking mechanism.
