Abstract:

To provide a bed leaving detector which reliably detects leaving from a bed at a low cost.

Using a nurse call system wherein a push button switch 17 for a patient to perform a depression operation is provided at a bed provided with a bed fence 9 having an opening 13 through which a patient can pass at one side part, a base plate 15 is mounted to the bed fence 9, an opening and closing door 16 is connected turnably to the side edge of the base plate 15, and the switch 17 is detachably held by a metal fitting 18 at the lower end of the base plate 15. When the door 16 is opened by a predetermined angle of ≥θ° from a closing position, a depressing member 19 depresses the push button 17a of the switch 17.
