To provide a bed with a shelf which can be folded easily.

A bed with a shelf is equipped with a headboard 3 put up at the front end of the bed and a shelf 39 mounted on the headboard 3. A shelf board 40 is attached to the headboard 3 in a manner that the shelf board 40 can rotate. A bracket 44 supporting the shelf board 40 for the headboard 3 is equipped, and the bracket 44 is joined to the headboard 3 in a manner that the bracket 44 can rotate. A rotating shaft of the bracket 44 is placed to be perpendicular to a rotating shaft of the shelf board 40. The shelf board 40 is folded in a manner that the bracket 44 comes between the headboard 3 and the shelf board 40.
