To provide a bed and bedding for nursing which enable free change in the position of a body necessary for nursing without requiring a separate position and aid by any attending person.
Pushup mechanisms 2 and 3 are arranged to freely change the shapes of a bed surface and a bedding surface to allow change in the position of a body necessary for nursing. A hoisting mechanism is provided to hoist a part or the whole of the body upward from the bed surface, the bedding surface, and the like, and mechanisms 14-20 are provided to allow vertical or horizontal movement of the body thereby enabling change in the position of the body necessary for nursing. The operations of a shape varying mechanism for the bed surface or the bedding surface and the hoisting mechanism can be programmed to enable automatic operation.
