Abstract:
To provide a belleville spring including improved relaxation performance to keep a predetermined characteristic curve concerning the whole life, and to provide a method of manufacturing the belleville spring.
This belleville spring formed substantially like a circular ring has a a conical upper side 12 placed substantially outward and a conical underside 13 placed substantially inward, wherein an outer annular edge part 14 and an inner annular edge part 15 are positioned between them, and in the unloaded condition, a surface layer 17 of the underside 13 includes inherent compressive stress higher than a surface layer 16 of the upper side 12.
