To provide a belt conveyor of a structure capable of easily replacing an endless belt without the need of the movement and removal of peripheral equipment.

The belt conveyor 1 includes two frames 10 and 11 formed in long size shapes and juxtaposed with a clearance between themselves, a pair of pulleys 12 and 13 rotatably journaled in a state of being installed between the two frames 10 and 11 at an interval between themselves in longitudinal directions (X-axis directions) of the frames 10 and 11, and the endless belt 14 tensioned between the pair of pulleys 12 and 13. In the belt conveyor 1, the drive pulley 12 can be reduced to the upper side in the Z-axis direction (direction in an arrow C) by removing bolts 24 and 25 to a clearance between the two frames 10 and 11. In this state, the driven pulley 13 can be removed by sliding to the right side in the X-axis direction (direction in an arrow D).
