Abstract:
To enable the firm fixing of an Obi [a sash for a Kimono (the national traditional costume of Japan)] on the sides of the Kimono, keep the tying of the Obi beautiful without wrinkling the Obi and prevent the tying thereof from losing the shape.
This belt 1 for tying an Obi is composed by providing Hook-and- Loop fasteners 3 and 4 at both ends of a belt 2 applied onto a Kimono so as to enable the attachment and removal from an optional position, further forming a correction pocket 5 in the belt 2 and placing a correction material 6 in the correction pocket 5.
