PURPOSE: To obtain a beltlike member, into which a cushioning material, a reinforcing core and the like can be put, by a method wherein resin layers formed by extruding molten resins are respectively laminated on the front and rear faces of a nonstretchable tubular base material, which is woven in the form of a cylinder and crushed in the form of a belt, and both the side edges of both the resin layers are pressed under heating against each other.

CONSTITUTION: A nonstretchable seamless tubular base material 1 is crushed to be formed into a beltlike shape, and two kinds of molten resins 2, 3 for a front and a rear, whose colors are different, are extruded and laminated on the front and rear faces of the beltlike tubular base material 1 in such a state that both side edges of these molten resins 2, 3 overhang a little outside both side ends of the tubular base material 1. Then, the molten resins 2, 3 for the front and the rear are pressed under heating against the front face and rear face of the tubular base material 1, and both the overhang side edges 4, 4' of the molten resin 2 for the front are pressed under heating against both the overhang side edges 5, 5' of the molten resin 3 for the rear, respectively. Furthermore, in the case of thermal pressing, the molten resins 2, 3 are prohibited from permeating into the inner circumferential faces of the tubular base material 1 and, in addition, the thermally pressed portions at both the overhang side edges of the molten resin 2 for the front and both the extended side edges 5, 5' of the molten resin 3 for the rear are allowed to show roundish outer shapes.
