Title:
BENCH CIRCULAR SAWING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3277307
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase dust collection efficiency in simple constitution by providing an arm in the rear of a base for placing lumber to be cut thereon and providing the suction port of cutting chips that is opened in the front to the arm in a bench circular sawing machine in which the body equipped with a saw blade is vertically movably attached pivotally.
CONSTITUTION: In a bench circular sawing machine 1, the body 6 is lowered by operating a handle 9 and lumber to be cut on a turntable 3 is cut by a saw blade 85. Cutting chips generated in the case are plunged into an induction path 24 or caught by a trumpetlike inlet constituted of an expansion part 19 and an induction member 20. Then, the cutting chips are induced to a cylindrical part 18 of the rear and discharged to the rear of an arm 4 or recovered in a dust collection bag connected to the cylindrical part 18 or in a dust collector connected through a hose. In the expansion part 19, since a descendent plate 19c is tilted nearly equally to the slope of the curve part 13a of a guide rail 13, leakage of the cutting chips is negligible and these are efficiently caught in the inlet formed of the expansion part 19 and the induction member 20.
