To avoid excessive-carbonization of sparkling beverage caused by its long-term releasing in a beverage dispenser.
In the case that various kinds of button operation performed through an operation panel are not carried out in this beverage dispenser and a dispensing plug stops to dispense beer, a continued time of this stopping operation is measured by a timer. Then, when a stopped time for dispensing the beer being measured by the timer reaches a waiting time T, a pressure adjusting control circuit closes the pressure adjusting valve at a step 140 so as to prohibit supplying of carbonated gas to a beer barrel. When a dispensing of the beer through the dispensing plug under an operation at the operation panel is started during this prohibited state, the pressure adjusting control circuit advances a program to a step 110 so as to re-start an opening or closing control of the pressure adjusting valve and release the prohibited state. In addition, the waiting time T is set in response to a temperature K of the beer barrel.
