To provide an auto-lock type bicycle stand easily manufactured without increase of number of part items and safely used.

A restriction part 9 restricting rotation of a leg part 2 from upward in a sprung-up state is provided to the back upper edge of a fixing plate. An abutting part 10 contacting the leg part from downward and preventing rotation of a lock plate is provided to the leading edge of the lock plate 4. A pulling spring is expanded such that a part between both spring supports 7, 8 is a base of an inverse triangle with the fulcrum shaft 5 of the lock plate as the top. In a stand-up process of the leg part 2, the lock plate 4 is driven and rotated to rotation of the leg part 2 via pressure contact of the abutting part 10 till that a pulling action line L of the pulling spring 6 reaches from the back side to the front side of the fulcrum shaft 5 of the lock plate 4. The pulling action line L moves to the front side of the fulcrum shaft 5 and the lock plate 4 is rotated forward by the pulling action, and then a lock part 11 of the front upper edge of the lock plate 4 is engaged with a cutout part 12 of the lower edge front part of a fixing plate 1.
