Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the necessity of an equipment and a chemical agent for removing calcium and reduce the amount of use of the chemical agent for preventing scale troubles by computing the target pH of a nitration tank based on the measurement of the M-alkaline strength and the Ca concentration in a nitration tank and adjusting pH in the nitration tank based on the computed result.
SOLUTION: The Ca concentration and the M-alkaline strength in a nitration tank 1 is measured by a Ca concentration and M-alkaline strength analysis device 12. The measurement result of the analysis device 12 and the measurement result of a pH meter are input into a computation controller 13, and the computation is performed in compliance with a computation formula based on the above measurement values, and pH in the nitration tank 1 is controlled based on the computation result. The scale troubles in a system can be prevented by the arrangement. An equipment for removing calcium, therefore, is not necessary, and a device can be smaller in size. Also a chemical agent for removing calcium is not necessary to reduce the chemical agent cost. The formula is that the supersaturation = nitration tank target pH-[1.99-(log(Ca concentration/40/1000)+log(M-alkaline strength/100/1000)}].
