PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binary power generation system capable of enhancing cycle efficiency by using water in place of an organic medium as a medium.SOLUTION: A binary power generation system includes: a heat exchanger 11 making heat exchange between a low-temperature heat source at 50°C to 300°C and a medium; a separator 12 making gas-liquid separation for separating a gas-liquid two-phase flow medium of the medium obtained by the heat exchanger 11 to steam and hot water; a steam turbine 13 supplying the steam after the gas-liquid separation and acquiring power; and a condenser 14 condensing the steam from the steam turbine 13. The medium is water. The binary power generation system includes a two-phase flow turbine 15 provided between the heat exchanger 11 and the separator 12 for supplying the medium after the heat exchange and acquiring the power.
