Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the wear resistance and durability of a magnetic layer by incorporating a polyurethane resin including a specific weight ratio of a diphenyl methane diisocyanate component and having a specific mol.wt. into a titled binder.
CONSTITUTION: Polyester diol is adjusted to 1,000mol.wt. A glycol having at least one alkyl group at the side chain is used as a chain extender, and diphenyl methane diisocyanate is used as an org. diisocyanate. The binder contains the polyurethane resin including 30W55wt% diphenyl methane diisocyanate as a component constituting the polyurethane resin and having 50,000W200,000mol.wt. The excellent wear resistance and durability are thereby obtd.
