Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new binder resin composition having good adhesion to polyolefin, polyvinyl chloride, polycarbonate, PET, ABS and nylon materials and excellent solvent solubility.
SOLUTION: The binder resin composition comprises a chlorinated propylene random copolymer prepared by chlorinating a propylene random copolymer (A) obtained by copolymerizing propylene with other α-olefins in the coexistence of a metallocene catalyst and having 115-165°C melting point (Tm) with a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) until the chlorine content reaches 10-40 wt.% and having 3,000-250,000 weight-average molecular weight, a stabilizer and an organic solvent and/or the binder resin composition comprises a carboxy group-containing chlorinated propylene random copolymer, the stabilizer and the organic solvent. The carboxy group-containing chlorinated propylene random copolymer is prepared by grafting 0.1-20 wt.% of an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid or its anhydride onto the copolymer (A) and then chlorinating the resultant graft copolymer until the chlorine content reaches 10-40 wt.% and has 30,000-220,000 weight-average molecular weight.
