Abstract:
To provide a binding part flattening device for flattening a deep-drawn binding trace and reducing a fastening force, to solve the problem that a roller width is required to be secured widely because a position of a set sheet bundle is unstable, or wrinkles and damage are generated in the sheet bundle from resistance against a roller, depending on a force applied by an operator under conditions such as weak stiffness and high moisture content.SOLUTION: A binding part flattening device C1 comprises: an insertion part 104; a restriction part 105; a support part 102; a press roller 101; and a moving mechanism 103. A binding part Sb of a sheet bundle S can be inserted into the insertion part 104. The restriction part 105 restricts a position of the binding part Sb inserted into the insertion part 104. The support part 102 supports the binding part Sb. The press roller 101 presses the binding part Sb between itself and the support part 102.
