To increase the bond strength between sheets in the sheets applied with binding in comparison to a case where drying of a bound portion of the sheets is not performed after binding processing of the sheets.SOLUTION: A CPU 211 performs drying of a bound portion such that, for example, a water content contained in the bound portion falls within a specific range when performing drying of the bound portion after binding processing. More concretely, the CPU 211 performs drying of the bound portion such that, for example, a ratio of the volume of the water content contained in the bound portion to the volume of the bound portion of the sheets after being applied with the binding processing falls within the specific range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
