To enable a base plate to bend with its longitudinal axis as a center by arranging the bottom plate part of a base plate to be more elastic than both wall parts, freely bend with elasticity around the longitudinal axis and have stiffness in the direction along the longitudinal axis.
A heel cup which connects the back of both wall parts 1a and 1b of a base plate 1 with a channel section is not attached. The wall parts 1a and 1b are formed of a stiff material such as aluminum. The bottom plate part 1d of the base plate 1 is formed of an elastic plastic material. These arrangements make the bottom plate part 1d of the base plate 1 capable of bending around its longitudinal axis and absorbing shocks during gliding. In addition enough stiffness provided for both wall parts 1a and 1b prevents the bending in the direction of the longitudinal axis.
