To solve the disadvantage that a heel cup for supporting a high back to a base plate can not be vertically moved in a conventional binding for a snowboard.
The binding for the snowboard of this invention is composed of the base plate, the heel cup fixed to the base plate so as to be freely vertically moved or freely moved to the front and back and vertically, and the high back provided on the heel cup. Also, the binding is composed of the base plate, the heel cup, the high back provided on the heel cup, a raised part provided on the base plate, a rear part fixing means for fixing the rear part of the raised part and the rear part of the heel cup, and a front part fixing means for fixing the front part of the raised part and the front part of the heel cup. At least one of the rear part fixing means and the front part fixing means is a means for freely vertically movably fixing the heel cup to the raised part.
