Abstract:

To provide a biodegradable polyester film which can drastically improve mechanical properties such as elongation at break and maximum tensile stress, and to provide its production method.

A biodegradable polyester film includes a biodegradable polyester composition including poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxy hexanoate) and poly(3-hydroxybutyrate), wherein the content of the poly(3-hydroxybutyrate) is in a range of >0 pt.wt. and <10 pts.wt., based on 100 pts.wt. of the total weight of the poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyhexanoate) and the poly(3-hydroxybutyrate), and does not substantially include a crystal having a diameter of 20 μm or more.
