A bioethanol production apparatus 1 includes: a fermentation means 2 which obtains a fermentation solution containing bioethanol by fermenting a saccharification solution of a biomass; a transfer means 3 which transfers the fermentation solution; and an extraction means 4 which extracts bioethanol, by the solvent extraction, from the fermentation solution transferred by the transfer means 3. The bioethanol production apparatus 1 also includes a protein removing means 6 which separates and removes a protein contained in the fermentation solution in the middle of the transfer means 3.
