To provide a culture apparatus for microalgae or the like, which can sufficiently promote the growth of microalgae.
A culture apparatus includes: a culture part which cultures microalgae in a liquid containing water while irradiating the microalgae with light; and a concentration part which concentrates the microalgae by performing membrane filtration of a microalgae containing solution which contains the microalgae cultured in the culture part and the liquid. The concentration part is arranged in a position which does not interrupt the light applied to the microalgae cultured in the culture part. The culture apparatus for the microalgae is constructed so that the microalgae concentrated in the concentration part is sent to the culture part.
