PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological information measurement device and a control method of the biological information measurement device capable of effectively notifying of a load state of a user.SOLUTION: A biological information measurement device includes: a biological information detection part for detecting biological information on a user; a motion information detection part for detecting motion information related to the motion of the user; a notification part for notifying of a load state of the user; a condition setting part 74 for setting a load state notification condition for each of action types; an action analysis part 73 for analyzing the action types of the user based on the detected biological information and motion information; a condition determination part 75 for determining whether or not the notification condition according to the analyzed action types of the user is satisfied based on the detected biological information and motion information; and a notification control part 78 for causing the notification part to notify of the load state when the notification condition is determined as being satisfied by the condition determination part 75.
