Abstract:

PURPOSE: To biologically repair polluted soil simply and effectively to enable the efficient propagation of bacteria.
CONSTITUTION: In the biological repairing of polluted soil, bonded matter at least consisting of bacteria decomposing an organochlorine compd., nutrient salts necessary for the propagation of bacteria and a bacteria bonding carrier is brought into contact with polluted soil while oxygen-containing gas is supplied. The bacteria bonding carrier is pref. composed of industrial waste and/or processed matter thereof, for example, coffee grounds or rice hulls.
