Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biomass-gasifying furnace capable of carrying out a clean and highly efficient gasification by effectively utilizing biomass, and further to provide a gasification system by utilizing the furnace. SOLUTION: This biomass-gasifying system has a biomass-gasifying furnace 13 for gasifying the biomass so as to form H2, CO or the like by feeding the biomass 11 and a combustion oxidant 12 thereto, a steam reforming means 15 for reforming a hydrocarbon such as CH4 in the formed gas 14 gasified by the biomass-gasifying furnace 13 in the presence of a catalyst, a cooler 16 for cooling the gas reformed by the reforming means 15, a heat-exchanging means installed in the cooling means 16 and for generating a high-temperature steam 18 by the heat-exchange with the water charged from the exterior, and a gas-purifying device 19 for purifying the cooled gas. The biomass-gasifying system can carry out a methanol synthesis from the formed gas to provide a methanol fuel.
