Abstract:
To provide a bipolar battery best-suited for a motor-driven secondary battery endowed with both high energy density and high output density.
The bipolar battery laminating a plurality of bipolar electrodes 100 made by forming a cathode layer 103 on one face of a collector 101 and an anode layer 102 on the other face through an electrolyte layer 106 respectively, has highly reactive active material layers 104, 105 with a thickness of 2.0 to 50 μm at an outermost part of at least either the cathode layer or the anode layer.
