Abstract:
To provide a bipolar type secondary battery restraining ion migration between electrodes and battery reaction from being deterred by gas generated at an initial charge and discharge.
The bipolar type secondary battery 10, consisting of a bipolar electrode with a cathode 13 formed on one face of a collector 11 and an anode 15 formed on the other face, an electrolyte layer 17, and a sealing part 31 arranged at a peripheral part, is provided with a collected part 35 of gas 37 generated at charge and discharge between the sealing part 31 and an electrode-electrolyte layer opposition part.
