Abstract:
To provide a black ink composition which enables a high-concentration aqueous solution or the like to be stable even when preserved for a long period of time, enables an image printed therewith to have high density, enables an image with the high-concentration aqueous solution printed thereon to cause no bronzing, and gives a black recorded image having excellent toughness.
The black ink composition contains the pigment (I) shown by formula (1) (wherein the rings A to D shown by broken lines are each a benzene ring or a nitrogen-containing hetero ring; group E is alkylene; X is a sulfo-substituted anilino group or the like; Y is an amino group or the like) or salt thereof at least.
