Title:
BLACK-AND-WHITE SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0854702
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a silver halide photographic sensitive material restrained in deterioration of sensitivity due to a sensitizing dye and enhanced in sensitivity and contrast and capable of maintaining high sensitivity and high contrast even in the case of the total processing time of ≤35sec in an automatic developing machine and to provide a method of processing it.

CONSTITUTION: The black-and-white silver halide photographic sensitive material having at least cane silver halide emulsion layer on a support contains a spectral sensitizing dye in the silver halide emulsion, and this sensitizing dye has a covering ratio of 0.7 to 1.0, when the covering ratio of the sensitizing dye having attained a saturated adsorption amount is 1, and this photosensitive material can be processed within the total processing time of ≤35sec in the automatic developing machine.
