A mounting groove 3 formed in a wiper arm 1 is in the form of a dovetail groove having a groove entrance part 3d with a groove width S, and a connecting shaft 8 with a diameter slightly greater than the groove width S and with an outside diameter X smaller than the inside diameter of the deep part 3a of the groove is secured to a blade 2.
