Abstract:
PURPOSE: To accurately detect deflection of a blade at a part where a work is cut.
CONSTITUTION: In a slicing device equipped with a rotatable blade 10, an axial load to be exerted on a work 30 from the blade 10 at cutting the work 30 by the blade 10 is detected by a distortion sensor 24. Based on the detected axial load, axial deflection quantity of the blade 10 at cutting is calculated; and the deflection of the blade 10 is controlled by using the calculated result of the deflection.
