Abstract:
To provide an apparatus which is made compact in a direction crossing an optical axis direction.SOLUTION: A blade driving apparatus includes: a base plate having an opening through which light passes; a blade which travels so as to open/close the opening on a surface of the base plate; a drive mechanism having a drive spring to actuate the blade; and a charge mechanism causing the drive mechanism to perform charge operation against the drive spring. The charge mechanism includes a charge slider which moves in a direction crossing an optical axis direction by a driving force of a driving source, to operate the drive mechanism. The charge slider includes an input unit where the driving force is input, and an operation unit for operating the drive mechanism. The input unit and the operation unit are arranged off from each other in the optical axis direction, and partially superposed at least in a moving direction of the charge slider.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
