Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve a dimensional accuracy of an object of a large-sized slicer by reducing occurrence of warpage of a blade during cutting of the object, and enhancing flatness of the blade.
CONSTITUTION: Non-contact type displacement sensors 4 and 5 for detecting displacement (warpage) of a blade 1 are provided at symmetrical positions from a center line of an ingot 2 at both sides of the ingot 1 near a cutting edge of an inner peripheral cutter 1a. Similarly, air pads 9 and 19 are provided above the cutter 1a of the blade 1, and air pads 11 and 12 are provided below the cutter 1a. The pads 9, 11, and 10, 12 are deviated in a circumferential direction to apply a moment effect to a control force to the blade 1.
