To provide a blasting device, a blasting method, and a quartz oscillator easy in control and countermeasures against dust.

This abrasive blasting device is provided with an injection device 10 for jetting rod-like polishing liquid at high pressure by pressurizing the polishing liquid containing abrasive material directly and a mesh member 20 provided between the injection device 10 and mesh member 20 to perform elliptic movement in the horizontal direction. By jetting the rod-like polishing liquid against the mesh member 20, the polishing liquid is splashed, air is taken in to generate polishing force in the polishing liquid, and the polishing liquid after passing through the mesh member 20 is sprayed against the quartz plate 2. Consequently, a machining face having facial symmetry can be formed on the quartz plate 2.
