Abstract:
PURPOSE: To create a blending silo which makes it possible to obtain high- quality blended material by built-in members which are statically problem-free, simple in constitution so as to meet the same and are, therefore mountable afterward at need.
CONSTITUTION: This blending silo consists of a silo vessel having a conical bottom terminating at the central discharge port of the vessel is inserted with a hopper 7 reduced in the direction of a vessel discharge port 3 in a region 1a of the bottom. The vertical axis of the hopper is aligned to the central axis of the silo vessel 1 and the internal space is subdivided to several compartments 9a to 9n continuous in a circumferential direction by a several number of sheet segments extended from the exterior wall of the hopper to the vertical axis of the hopper. The sizes of the cross-sectional areas of the feed ports and/or discharge ports of the respective adjacent compartments vary in sizes.
