PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart a necessary and sufficient drainage function even to an installation place, wherein a top surface of a block for a water way is in a position lower than a top surface of a pavement layer, without needlessly increasing a material cost or a labor cost.
SOLUTION: A positioning body, which is loaded into an opening of an upper wall slab of the block for the water way, comprises; a plurality of leg plates which can be fixed by being fitted into the opening; a first frame plate which is joined to an upper end of the leg plate, and on which an outer edge of the pavement layer abuts; and a second frame plate which is joined to the leg plate by making a gap for drainage between the first and the second frame plates, and on which a block for a boundary between a sidewalk and a roadway abuts. A narrow gap for the passage of water, which faces an undersurface of the outer edge of the pavement layer, is formed between the first frame and a road-side upper-end ridgeline part of the opening; the water, which runs along a surface of the pavement layer, is guided into the opening from the gap for drainage; and the water, which permeates the inside of the pavement layer, is guided into the opening from the narrow gap for the passage of the water, when the pavement layer has water permeability.
