Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple blockout type elastic track device for a turnout allowing easy maintenance.
SOLUTION: The blockout type elastic track device for a turnout is a device 5 for elastically supporting ties to which branching railroad rails are fixed. A standardized vibration isolating pad 11 is put on the lower surface of the tie 2 and vibration isolating rubber 12 is put on the sides of the tie 2. A box body 10 having a cutout and detachably covering the vibration isolating pad 11 and the vibration isolating rubber 12 which make contact with the tie 2 is integrated with ballast 1 to allow easy mounting and removal of the pad 11 for increased efficiency of maintenance.
