Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the appearance of an outer surface of one wall and increase a mechanical strength such as rigidity without shrink and warp on the outer surface.
CONSTITUTION: A hollow double wall structure is manufactured by blow molding thermoplastic resin. One wall 1 and the other wall 2 are opposed via an interval. A solid rib 3 is integrally formed between the walls 1 and 2, and an entire peripheral surface is closed by a peripheral edge (not shown). The rib 3 is formed at a part from a fusion-bonded part to the wall 1 to a part to the vicinity of a thinner part 3A than the wall 1 and the other thick part 3B, and a part except the rib 3 is hollow 4.
